Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
The two month Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program supplement gives professionals working with children the opportunity to engage in additional didactic education in psychoanalytically oriented child psychotherapy. Over two years the course will cover such areas as: working with parents, evaluation of children and adolescents, case formulation through case conferences and didactic courses.
The class will meet during May and June on Monday evenings from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Each student meets twice weekly for group supervision offering a variety of current child psychoanalytic clinical perspectives.
Eligibility
This program is available to current students in the Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program (APP) and past graduates of the APP program.
Credit
Credit may be arranged through some university programs. Continuing Education credits are available.
Tuition
APP tuition for the 2008-2009 year is $3700. Those signing up for the supplement will incur an additional $600 tuition bill for the 8 week course. APP graduates may choose to re-take or audit the APP Program or they may sign up for the supplement only for $600 for the 8 Weeks.
