WHAT ALUMNI SAY ABOUT THE PROGRAM
My past training taught me much, as did the CAPP classes and readings. However, it was the in-depth, one to one supervision that gave me a new understanding of my patients, the therapeutic process, and especially myself in the process. It was and is invaluable in understanding the true nature of the healing process.
-Michael Haines, Ph.D.
The hardest part of being a child therapists is being able to understand and tune into the child's parents. This program addressed that in many different ways that inform my work each day. In addition I often find that I see a developmental strain or arrest as it appears in a child patient during one treatment hour and then in the next I see an adult patient who never resolved a similar issue.
-Kaye Bock, M.S.W.
I highly recommend the CAPP program to those mental health professionals who are sincere in their desire to help children and their families. The training I received has been invaluable in my current practice with children and with adults.
-Patricia Kitchin, M.S.W., R.N., C.S.
The knowledge and clinical skills I acquired through the CAPP program have influenced my clinical work with children in fundamental ways. It provides me with a basis on which to build.
-Phoebe Cirio, M.S.W.
